I have a friend that has a son who shows several “red flags” for Autism as an infant & now at 2 years old, I have mentioned this to the Mom and have encouraged her to be open & frank with the childs pediatrician. The parents seem to be in denial & insist the child is meeting milestones but is just slow to do so, I’m afraid that the child will suffer if early intervention is not started soon. What would you recommend?
